In August 2018, SAS Dreams arranged a truly unique, gastronomic journey through the past, present and future of Lebanese cuisine which is more than just mezze! Travelers were treated like royalty and enjoyed gourmet feasts cooked by famous chefs in magical and serene settings.

While traveling in the valleys and meeting passionate, like-minded friends, the importance of family values were prominent as everyone shared amazing food and wines. Everyone got the chance to enjoy beachside barbecues on the shores of the Mediterranean, while sipping gin and tasting beers, distilled and brewed at the only craft brewery in Lebanon.

Accommodations were in a luxury boutique hotel in Beirut and the Bkerzay eco-hotel village, where travelers could relax in the hammam, go hiking or attend a pottery class by a master potter.

Lebanese cuisine is a combination of European sophistication with exotic Asian ingredients and a twist of Middle Eastern spices. It is generally regarded as one of the world’s healthiest cuisines, because of its minimally processed foods and abundant use of fruits and vegetables.
